Dear supporters of the Furdui family,
Jugendamt Heidekreis officials are not keeping their word and have no interest in really helping the Furdui family, as is required by law. This truth became crystal clear immediately following their defiant and abusive intervention of April 26, 2021, a truth that is reinforced even today.
Shortly after the extraordinary mobilization of the European communities in Walsrode on February 27, the Furdui family’s lawyers launched a public appeal to the Jugendamt Heidekreis to draw towards the reunification of the Furdui family. For their part, Jugendamt officials responded positively to this request, as it was clear that the reunification of the family was in the best interests of the children.
Being somewhat encouraged but also vigilant at the same time by the positive announcements and the willingness of the parties to cooperate, we gave the opportunity and time for a friendly solution, deeming that the Heidekreis officials have come to their senses and will act correctly, at least this time.
It is true that we did not have high expectations, but it was the right to give the negotiations a chance, given that the Furdui family’s situation was very sensitive and remains so. Unfortunately, our fears were confirmed: Jugendamt Heidekreis never intended to reunite the family.
Although more than a month has passed since the Walsrode court decision that Estera and Natalia should return home, the Jugendamt Heidekreis are intentionally blocking this, just as abusively as before.
Even worse, Albert and Ruben have been forcibly moved to another city, separated from their families and their school environment, only because they have consistently and stubbornly expressed their desire to be allowed to go home.
Little Lea can only see her parents, Petru and Camelia, once every two weeks, but she is forbidden to see her siblings. Any contact between the brothers and sisters has been terminated. This is a serious violation of the law and of the rights of these children. In addition, Lea can never learn her parents’ language again, which is another violation of human rights.
We are witnessing a single-minded reign of terror and intimidation perpetuated by the Jugendamt Heidekreis that is dead set against these innocent children and against a family that has never been given a chance to make amends.
Therefore, given the negative evolution of the case and the extent of the Jugendamt abuses, we are no longer able to wait for an amicable solution – Heidekreis officials are not reliable, never had good intentions regarding the Furdui family, and lack the integrity and professionalism to handle this case, let alone manage such an important institution for German society.
In the coming days we will continue to reveal more information from the family’s file to demonstrate again and again the abuses and hatred with which the Jugendamt has acted against the Furdui Family.
Thank you for your support in your prayers and in your actions, as well as for your involvement thus far and especially for your involvement in future actions. You have shown that David, Naomi, Estera, Natalia, Ruben, Albert, and Lea are like your own children, and that Peter and Camelia are your brother and sister. We pray that God will bless you and that, through your support, He will give victory to the Furdui family.
